Jenna Kim, ACSW

I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist committed to fostering mental well-being across diverse populations—including first generation immigrant and undocumented individuals and families. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCLA, where I specialized in immigrant parent-child dynamics and cultural influences on motivation, communication and relationships.

I also hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and am an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) with a PPS certificate. With nearly ten years of experience as a psychology researcher, psychology instructor and academic counselor, I have worked extensively with diverse cultures, including Asian, Latino, and Muslim communities, both in the school district and other counseling roles.

As a therapist, I specialize in motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT, and have a proven track record in treating social anxiety, general anxiety, depression, grief, and supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals. I also lead group counseling sessions, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment for all clients.
